Children's Room Mural Project

Calling all artists!  Apply to showcase your talents on the walls of the Marlborough Public Library!  The Children's Room is looking for some art to add to our woodland seating area and we need you! 

First round applications are due by March 1, 2026. A committee comprised of Library Trustees and Library Staff will review applications and select finalists. Finalists will be given $250 to submit a final proposal. The winner will be given $5,500 upon completion of the mural. 

Round 1 submissions must include some ideas you have as to what theme or imagery you will use along with up to 5 samples of your art.

This project is funded in part by the Marlborough Public Library Foundation and by a grant from the Marlborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
