About the Teen Room

The Teen Room is a safe, supportive space for teens to learn, socialize, and be themselves. We are located on the lower level of the brand new library building, behind the Information Desk!   It’s the perfect place to hang out, do your homework, or curl up with a book!

The Teen Room is just for adolescents in grades 6-12. Adults and children are welcome to look for materials, but must sit, read, and use computers in other areas of the library, even during school hours.

Teen Room Rules

  • Respect yourself and others.
  • Respect library property and the property of others.
  • No food allowed — closed drinks are okay.
  • Use appropriate language and speaking volume. Use headphones for audio.
