Our library offers a wide range of book clubs to match every interest and reading style! From mystery and memoirs to science fiction, romance, nonfiction, and beyond, there's a group for every reader. Whether you're a lifelong book lover or just getting started, join a welcoming community that shares your passion and helps stories come to life through lively discussion.

1. Great Reads Book Club

   It is the mission of the Marlborough Public Library Adult Book Club to provide an open and friendly environment within which all members of the community are welcome to discuss books they have read; also, to expand members' personal literary experiences by introducing them to books that they might otherwise not have selected.

2. High Strangeness

   The High Strangeness Book Club is a space where overlooked, unconventional, and grotesque narratives are celebrated by a community of adult readers who want to delve deeper into examining the darkness and surrealism of intergenre horror.

3. Pride Book Club

   The Pride Book Club is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ people to explore narratives by and for members of their community, including a blend of non-fiction and fiction covering a wide array of genres and experiences.

4. Undiscovered Realms

   Undiscovered Realms: Science Fiction and Fantasy Book Club is open to anyone 18 and older with a passion for exploring everything from medieval magic to futuristic frontiers—and all the worlds in between. If you love science fiction and fantasy, this club is for you.
