Welcome to the proposed development projects page where you can find all relevant information regarding proposed projects that require a Special Permit or Site Plan Approval and meet a certain criteria. The page includes public hearing dates, relevant site plan documents, a general overview of the project, and any other relevant information. The goal is to increase resident and business participation in the planning process, better educate the public on the facts of the proposed development and increase public transparency surrounding developments within the city.

FD 130 Lizotte, LLC Multi-Family Residential Development - Approved
The City Council granted the Application for a Special Permit to FD 130 Lizotte, LLC to build and operate a three-building multifamily dwelling project, with a total of 187 residential units off of Lizotte Drive.

Taj Estates of Marlborough, LLC 163-175 Main Street Mixed Use Project - Approved/Amended
The City Council granted the Application to Amend a Special Permit to Taj Estates of Marlborough, LLC to authorize modifications to a mixed-use project at 163-175 Main Street. The Site would consist of a mixed-use development with 67 new residential units, 59 on-site parking spaces, and street level commercial space, in a 7-story building.

This project is seeking a special permit to construct a mixed-use development (multi-family and commercial) in the Executive Residential Overlay District at the corner of Simarano Drive and Cedar Hill Street.

This project is seeking a special permit to build and operate a 140-unit multifamily dwelling residential project at 339 Boston Post Road East, in three buildings, with 280 on-site parking spaces, open areas, walking paths, and residential amenities.

This project is seeking a special permit to construct a mixed-use development on an underutilized 4.5-acre parcel in the Neighborhood Business District located at the corner of Lincoln and Mechanic Streets.

This project was granted a Site Plan Permit - Site Plan Approval with Conditions in 2018 by the City Council per Zoning Ordinance and City Code. It has been designed to comply with the dimensional and design requirements of the Marlborough Village District without special permit relief. This mixed-use development consists of a 5-story building with 36 residential units, 2 ground-floor retail units, and an enclosed garage on the ground floor with 29 parking spaces.
