The MCDA administers AHVP and DMH vouchers as they are made available. The MCDA only maintains the waitlist for the AHVP program, DMH vouchers are issued and maintained by DMH. These vouchers work similarly to the HUD HCV Section 8 program in that the participant is given a mobile voucher to use for rental subsidy at a location of their choosing which fits with payment standards and income limits. The MCDA currently administers two AHVP vouchers.
