Note: Memorial Beach Will Be Closed May 1 - Mid-June
Public Swimming Hours: 11:00am - 6:45pm (7 Days a Week / Parking Lot opens 10:45am)
(Bathrooms close at 6:30pm / Parking Lot 7pm)
Please Note: Beach will be closed the week of August 26 - 30. Beach will reopen for Labor Day Weekend depending on Lifeguard Availability (Sat-Mon: 11:30am - 5:45pm)
Labor Day Weekend Hours: Bathrooms close at 5:30pm / Parking Lot 6pm.
Last day for Public Swimming will be Monday, September 2nd
The water at the beach is tested weekly.
Free to Marlborough Residents
***(Must show driver's license / car registration for admittance to parking lot)***
Handicap Parking: Access to the handicap parking lot will be granted after checking in with the parking attendant to show residency status / handicap placard
Non-Residents are subject to $20 daily parking fee
Memorial Beach Rules and Regulations
Grilling is not allowed on beach property
No Amplified Music. No Bluetooth Speakers
No pets are allowed per order of the Health Department
No Alcohol, Tobacco products, or Drugs are allowed anywhere on public property
No glass bottles are permitted on the beach or in the water
Tents are ONLY permitted in the grilling area
All Swimming Aids must be Coastguard Certified
Swimming masks that cover the nose are prohibited along with snorkels, fins, and inflatable toys. Goggles are allowed.
No Boat Drop Off is allowed at Memorial Beach
Kayaks are not to be launched or used to access Memorial Beach
No picking up or dropping off swimmers in the Handicap Parking Lot
Swimming is only allowed in the roped off area
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
No regular diapers in the water. Only Swim Diapers are allowed
The Recreation Department highly recommends the use of water shoes
Organizations/Groups are not allowed on Memorial Beach
Lifeguards Signals:
1 Whistle: Stop what you are doing, look at the Lifeguard, and follow his/her directions.
Repeated long blasts or one air horn blast: Clear the water!
Please Note:
It is the responsibility of the Lifeguards to protect the patrons of Memorial Beach. The Lifeguard has the authority to eject anyone who is uncooperative.
